Last 2 games gain 1/6 points…

Nottingham Forest 1 ITFC 0
Peterborough 0 ITFC 0

So the last 2 away games just get Town a solitary point. This is a little disappointing as it keeps Town just 4 points off the relegation places. On the positive side Town played reasonably well in both games.

Against Forest it was a deflected goal that won the game even with Town down to 9 players after Lee Martin and Richard Stearman had been sent off! Against Peterborough Town played new loanee signing Jay Tabb (from Reading) as a replacement for Martin who misses 3 games due to his red card and it was a great pity again this season we have not been able to win against fellow struggling teams at the bottom. In fact many of the teams at the bottom have had winning results and are trying to pull away from the relegation places and let ITFC fall down into their places. There are now only 9 more games to go to the end of the season and Town need points and results from these to avoid relegation.

Next for Town are x2 home games:
Sat 16 Mar ITFC vs Bolton
Sat 30 Mar ITFC vs Leeds

These are obviously 2 hard but important to win games….
